The first volume of the "La Col·lecció 7 Portes de Receptaris Històrics de Cuina Catalana" is the Book of Sent Soví, a recipe book from the middle of the 14th century - the oldest preserved in Catalan - which, through the recipes and the procedures explained, provides a synthesis of mediaeval gastronomy with the main focus on haute cuisine, typical of the wealthy classes and the nobility of the time.
