Our cuisine
In the 7 Portes menu you can find our famous rice dishes and paellas, fresh and popular salads, entertainment, traditional cannelloni, seafood, fish and meat, spoon and fork dishes in "danger of extinction", roasted with the traditional chopped and also the tartars. Our menu includes an extensive recipe book that has evolved over time. Boasting 185 years of experience is equivalent to saying that we have been able to adapt and that we have been nuanced our offer according to the tastes of generations and generations of customers.

Culinary tradition

7 Portes has modern dishes and dishes that you will not find almost anywhere, which will delight gormands and gourmets.


Great festive dishes and casseroles to share, ranging from Paella Parellada and Zarzuelas, to dishes created in the restaurant and that have become classics such as Mrs. Carme's cod, or "Barquera" monkfish, to current dishes and light.


We do not stop here and continue creating new dishes with the aim of renewal that allows us to affirm that we are a restaurant more alive than ever.

Our lounges and private spaces are perfect to enjoy an unique and personalized experience to the needs of each client and occasion. Our Menu

The best cuisine in our country has been cooked here for almost two centuries, over low heat. At 7 Portes restaurant we offer a menu with a selection of our best dishes such as rice, one of our most renowned specialties, and of which you can find up to 12 varieties depending on the season.

In our menu you will also find many options for meat, which offers an infinite range of recipes, including what we call "endangered dishes"; fish and seafood, cooked with recipes that go back centuries and continue to amaze us; or desserts, made every day by our pastry team, and which include classics created in our cuisine such as Pajamas, so established in Catalan cuisine. In addition, we periodically incorporate seasonal dishes.

At Restaurant 7 Portes we have different menu options for groups of more than 6 people. You can celebrate your family or business lunch or dinner in complete comfort.

Llibre de totes maneres de potatges is the third volume of "Col·lecció 7 Portes de Receptaris Històrics de Cuina Catalana” and, therefore, the third great recipe book of Catalan cuisine of the Middle Ages.

This work, dated at the beginning of the 15th century, consists of more than two hundred chapters that order the recipes by areas, from meat, game and poultry, making a tour of the "spoon dishes" and ending with a section dedicated to fish and Lenten recipes.

Llibre del Coc is the first gastronomic book printed in the Iberian Peninsula. It appeared for the first time in Barcelona at the beginning of the 16th century, putting an end to the medieval recipe books of "Col·lecció 7 Portes de Receptaris Històrics de Cuina Catalana”. Although it shares several aspects with the previous publications, such as recipes or culinary techniques, it presents new adaptations, procedures and tastes that were imposed during the 16th century and that opened the way to the Renaissance cuisine.
