Everyone's safety is our priority

Now that we can finally meet each other again, to share a table and gatherings and enjoy our gastronomy is more important than ever, that we can do it safely and calmly. At the 7 Portes Restaurant we want you to be able to continue enjoying our different spaces with us and build these unique moments together, which fill us of joy and happiness.

For them, we have created a Covid19-Safe Space Protocol so that both our clients and all the people who are part of the 7Portes team extend in the restaurant with total confidence and security.

1. Cleaning and disinfection protocol


The restaurant has adopted the strictest cleaning measures from the hand of MULLOR, a company specialized in cleaning all types of spaces and with a proven track record.

Mullor is committed to 7 Portes of:

  • Permanently clean and disinfect the common spaces open to customers: reception, restaurant rooms, WC, corridors and terrace, with the products and the necessary frequency.
  • Clean and disinfect with the products and the maximum necessary frequency, the working spaces of the kitchen, the merchandise reception area and also the corporate offices.

Table linen

The restaurant continues to rely on Lavandería Empordà for the cleaning of all tablecloths, napkins and cloths in the restaurant. All of them are washed complying with the standards of bacteriological disinfection at a temperature of 80º. Likewise, the rest of the process, ironing, reception, delivery and transport follow the most demanding criteria.

Dishwashing machine

The restaurant has in the kitchen a modern equipment for washing machine and dishwasher to clean the dishes, cutlery, glasses and glassware and a pan-washer (for pans and work utensils). All of them are washed and disinfected at temperatures of 80º, thus complying with the recommendation of the Ministerio de Sanidad of Spanish Government.

2. Social distancing

The restaurant strictly applies the regulations and recommendations of the Ministerio de Salud, Consumo y Bienestar Social of Spanish Government, to guarantee a safe space for all people who make use of its facilities.

  • Limited capacity, according to the indications of current regulations. Currently, inside the capacity it is 30% of its capacity and 100% on the terrace of the restaurant. We will maintain the capacity restriction that guarantees a safe distance between everyone; Therefore, 7 Portes Restaurant staff may limit the entry of customers, if necessary.
  • Safety distance of 2 meters between the tables
  • Signage reminders of the recommended measures to customers and employees
  • Relocation of furniture to help maintain social distancing.
  • Permanent service available to customers of hydro-alcoholic ice.
  • Continuous ventilation of all spaces.
  • Individual temperature measurement for all clients prior to entering the establishment.

3. Reservation management

In order to properly manage the restaurant's capacity, we have reinforced the reservations area. We ask all our clients to make a prior reservation to facilitate the best organization of the service.

4. Digitization of the menu service

In order to minimize the contact of materials shared between clients, we have withdrawn our usual menus, replacing them with:

  • I-Pads that offer our menu in multi-language format and that are sanitized for each use.
  • QR code, facilitating the use of the menu from the personal mobile of each client, if desired.
  • Paper menus, for short use.

5. Personal protection material

Both our clients, our employees and suppliers have at their disposal different safety materials for their personal use, while they are in our facilities: hydro-alcoholic gel, masks, screens ...

6. Food Safety Protocol

  • Reception of goods: to reduce risks we have established a specific procedure in the deliveries of our suppliers, which minimizes physical contact between the different products and also between suppliers.
  • Food Safety: we have optimized the handling of the products and the human contact in the preparation and delivery of the dishes in the Kitchen and main room.

7. Review of facilities

We always apply the highest standards when reviewing the facilities, including the air and water ducts. Given the exceptional situation we are experiencing, the frequency of controls has been increased to ensure greater monitoring, especially with the reinforcement of natural ventilation since all our rooms have large windows.

8. Health for employees

In order to provide a safe environment, all of our staff:

  • Always make the Serological test for SARS-CoV-2 total before reincorporation.
  • We perform temperature control daily, prior to joining the job.
  • Has received specific training and information on current health regulations and protocols and instructions for their implementation.
  • Wear the maximum possible protections; in the case of room personnel a mask and protective screen and in the case of kitchen personnel, a mask and gloves.

9. Coordination of the prevention protocol

The company for the prevention and control of occupational risks EGARSAT accompanies us in advising and supporting the technical preventive management of Covid-19, health surveillance and external certification of the correct implementation of all measures.

The 7 Portes Restaurant has a specific protocol for the management of the situation driven from Covid 19 and an internal commission to always ensure its strict compliance.
